TEC 198T5: Photovoltaic Installation Training: Introduction to photovoltaic energy and photovoltaic (PV) systems installation. Includes markets and applications, safety basics, electricity basics, energy efficient applicances, solar energy fundamentals, PV materials, module fundamentals, concentrators, system components, system sizing, electrical design, mechanical design and performance analysis and troubleshooting. 3 credit hours, lecture and lab. Traditional classroom with heavy hands-on component. (Please note: Exam given at East Campus)
